Sprada Platform is live.
Buy-side firms in Asia-Pacific often struggle to know what they really pay for market data. Sprada Platform is now live, purpose-built for the firms enterprise vendors ignore.
For nearly three decades I’ve watched the same problems repeat themselves across banks and asset managers in this region. Market data spend is large, contracts are complex, vendors design opacity into the relationship, and the people responsible for managing it all rarely have tooling covers all their needs. Spreadsheets are still used extensively and institutional knowledge sits in one person’s head. Renewals slip past notice deadlines & compliance breaches surface during audits rather than before them.
The firms with budgets to solve this properly, i.e. tier-one banks and the large asset managers, buy enterprise platforms with big implementation and annual license fees. Everyone else makes do.

Sprada Platform brings your entire market data estate into one place: subscriptions, vendor contracts, invoices, user entitlements, compliance items, renewal calendars. It models the things the major vendors deliberately keep complicated, multi-level contract hierarchy’s, per-terminal contracts with staggered renewal dates, exchange display fees that orphan when users leave the firm, usage reports that doesn’t match invoiced entitlements.
Everything is structured, searchable, and visible. No more spreadsheet of spreadsheets.

The AI isn’t a chatbot bolted onto the side. It’s woven into the workflow. Ask “show me all users whose Bloomberg terminals expire in the next 90 days where the notice deadline has already passed,” and you get a real answer with real action items. Ask “what’s driving my month on month uptick in market data spend” and the system actually understands what you mean.
This works because the AI agents have direct access to the underlying data model and have been built specifically for the market data domain, not retrofitted from generic agentic patterns.

Sprada Platform is available two ways:
Self-managed subscription. For firms that have someone running their market data function internally. You get the Platform, the AI, the structure, and the visibility. Onboarding takes a weeks not months; from there it’s yours to operate.
Fractional Market Data Management. For firms that would rather have it handled. We become your outsourced market data function, managing vendor relationships, assisting with renewal negotiations, verifying invoices, reviewing compliance, all on your behalf. The visibility and leverage of a senior in-house market data manager, at a fraction of the cost.
Sprada is built in Singapore, by someone who’s spent the last three decades managing market data for institutions across the region. The Platform understands regional exchanges, local currency billing, APAC time-zone workflows. It’s not a US product translated for export.
Our first client is live. Over the coming months we’re opening the Platform to additional firms across APAC, particularly funds, asset managers, and smaller banks who recognize the picture I described at the start of this post.
